If DirectTrust is the primary delivery method, then the Health Plan selects one of the fallback methods: Mail or Fax.
When a member’s results are posted, Everly Health Solutions will email the PCP results using DirectTrust. If DirectTrust fails, the fallback method is attempted. If the fallback method fails, no further action is taken.
DirectTrust Clinical Follow-Up messages cannot be delivered to a provider under the following circumstances:
The eligibility file does not contain a valid NPI for a PCP
The eligibility file does not contain a name for a PCP
The provider is not registered with DirectTrust
Letter is the recommended fallback method to DirectTrust.
